For Sale: KCS Custom - Full Range Fostex F200A Drivers in Pseudo-Bass Reflex Enclosure

For sell is a pair of full range speakers designed and fabricated by John Kalinowski. Keeping to his reputation, John used the legendary Fostex F200A driver with Alnico magnets. The frequency response of the F200A is remarkably flat over the full range allowing it to be used for all frequencies preventing the need for crossovers which create distortion, overlap, and have dynamic effects based off amplifier output impedance. The F200A drivers are housed in a pseudo-bass reflex enclosure made from CNC milled birch ply covered with mahogany veneer. The speakers come with steel stands that also act as wave guides.

The resulting combination of the F200A with John’s enclosure is a speaker that reveals a lot of detail and has an open responsive sound. I have enjoyed these speakers immensely but I’m moving and they cannot come. The pair of speakers with stands is $1200 and requires pickup. However, depending on your location, I could meet you halfway. I’m located near Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
