Need advice on center and surround channel speakers

Hi i have Denon AVR 1612 and Bose Acoustimass 5 speaker and use it as front channel speakers now i want to add surround and center channel to this setup to make it 5.1. i wanted to know if i buy 2nd pair of am5 as surround speakers is it good? or should i buy bose 161 for surround setup, and please tell me for center channel which brand and model suit this setup. thanks in advance

You should probably do a search on what the opinions are of Bose. I assure you it is not good. I wouldn't spend another dime on anything Bose if I were you.

I would suggest using the Bose that you have as surrounds and buying other speakers for your front left, right, and center, and sub. There are plenty of other speakers that are a much better value than buying more Bose, and unless you must have tiny cube speakers, larger speakers will also sound much better, too. Thanks for the revert. i lived in India and i have searched all over but i don't find any center channel from bose i know you guys don't like bose sound but i'm ok with it. now tell me does Polk Audio cs10 center channel speaker best suited with bose setup or should i opt for another option? if you guys have another good option speaker from any other brand which easily available in India and easy on pocket then please do let me know. thanks in advance

For the front sound stage, it's typically best to use three of the same speaker or the matching center channel from the manufacturer.

Ok i got your point but now one more thing rise up if i will use Bose am 5 as surround channel then should i need subwoofer or am5 subwoofer do the job for low frequencies??

please suggest me front right/left and center channel speaker from which brand and are easy on pocket.
