I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this sub? I've got a chance to get a great deal on one. Mainly using as a sub for music, concerts, exc.

It's a 200 watt "peak" output 8" sub. Not going to have a lot of max output. Probably best suited for a small room, like a bedroom. In a bigger room, probably won't keep up with your mains at higher volumes, and you might be pushing it to its limits all the time, potentially shortening its life.

+1. It's a simplification, but a good rule of thumb is that the nominal diameter of the sub driver should be twice that of those in your mains to keep up with them. If you've got mains loaded with one four inch midbass then an 8 inch loaded sub is probably appropriate.

Oops, I did not follow that rule as my mains have dual horn loaded 10's. I only use 13's for my bass, well, lots of them. BTW, this is how you get a better than IMAX experience:

James, you deserve the title "Professor Badass"! I'd love to hear your sound one day.
