Speakers for a small odd-shaped room

Hello,

I have a small TV room in which I'd like to improve the audio. I recognize that the acoustics aren't that great, but I am hoping that I can do something better than the TV speakers. Here is the room layout:

I was thinking of using two in-wall speakers above or below the TV for the front channel because there really isnt space for anything else, and I was considering the Speakercraft AIM series so I could angle them into the room. For the rears, I was going to use a pair of in-ceiling speakers and place the subwoofer in the back corner. I was planning to skip the front center channel since the two front speakers were so close to each other anyway.

So here are my questions:
1) I have read the two fronts can be adjusted to account for the fact that they will be different distances from the viewer, will this work?
2) Is it better to have the speakers above or below the TV?
3) Is it worth it to spend the extra money to get the speakercraft aim series speakers so that I can angle the baffles as well as the tweeters or would speakers with adjustable tweeters be enought?
4) Should I skip the in-walls and just get a soundbar instead? I'd prefer not to do this as the room already feels small.
5) The in-ceilings would be below the childrens bedrooms. Should I be concerned that the sound will bleed through, and consider in-walls for the rears as well?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

In walls might be hard to angle properly toward the listening position. What about mounting speakers above the TV that can be angled in the right direction?
