Projector Recommendation: Over 3000 lumens (uncalibrated), great PQ, under $30K ? - Page 2

How are two projectors coordinated? So the image is combined? My projector lens slowly moves (the powerlite lens shift sucks and doesnt lock well). I highly doubt i can do two of them since each will wiggle out of position.

After they are setup and aligned you just send IR or 232 commands to both.  No issues there as you always want them acting as one.  Just split the input signal with a 1 in 2 out HDMI splitter.  Almost trivial unless focus zoom and shift have a mind of their own.

You can get standalone units that blend two projectors for perfect alignment as well. When I considered a two pj set for passive 3D it was my understanding that using two projectors do not effectively double the lumens on screen (more like a 25 percent increase IIRC) but others with more knowledge could confirm.

The new SIM2 Lumis Uno has up to 3000 lumen and would be my recommendation.

Digital Projection Highlite series. 330w or 660w bulb models.
