Why not just edit your first post with the new schedule so the latest one is always at the top of the thread? Just an idea.

OK, I checked out the free preview at my mother's house today (Comcast, Sacramento). I only checked the early games. There was one game in HD (NY vs. Det.). Of course, they only have one, (maybe two after hockey season) HD channels available. Of the games in SD, all but two were in 16:9 within the 4:3 box, i.e., black bars all around. Certainly one could zoom the picture, but that wouldn't help the resolution. I imagine most ball clubs are broadcasting this way for legacy analog TVs, but is there any work around to this?

Honestly, on any cable system doing it this way (apparently most, since they don't have enough HD capacity) I wouldn't even consider MLB EI. Of course, I'm a mlb.tv user, and I prefer the flexibility (home/away feeds, using home/away radio feeds for audio, even the "park" audio feature at times) of mlb.tv, so it's no problem for me.

Can the daily games post be updated to include the Game of the Day on MLB.tv?

That'd be great. Then it'll save me the trouble of having to keep up the separate posts for it.

Note to FSN/Fox Sports, PLEASE get rid of the constant Blue score ticker running at the bottom of the screen. How about a quick 1 minute ticker every 20 minutes or so??? I would like to watch sports in full screen, at least most of the time... Espn 2 : the Tennis looks much better in full screen, how about taking it off for all live event programming???

I agree, it is distracting. In my case though, next season TWC will be the host channel and not FSN for the Dodgers so maybe that ticker will disappear, although they likely have something else equally annoying.

Are there any Time Warner RSNs out there now? What do they look like?

I'd be happy to see any of that stuff. Right now I'm in the group in San Diego that STILL can't see Padres games (TWC San Diego customers). All the other providers down here now have it.

Maybe time to order Directv in San Diego??? Do they have the Padres, now??? Unbelievable that the TWC can't make a deal to show the Padres..

I certainly agree with Ray Lucca. That constant blue ticker on all the Fox regional baseball channels sure is ugly and very annoying. It ruins the broadcast.

Has anyone seen the outpouring of support by MLB after the tragedy on Monday?

As a Massachusetts resident i am devastated by the terrible events and my thoughts and prayers are with all affected by the events on Patriots Day 4/15.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this question, but here it goes:

Does anyone know why Fox Sports San Diego is blacked out on Directv during the Padre games in Phoenix, Arizona? The channel is accessible all other times, so I assume it is a blackout issue. The frustrating thing is that the channel was not blacked out last year (saved a boatload not having to order the MLB Extra Innings).

Any insight?

Thanks

A quick guess, the local RSN (Fox Sports Arizona, or whatever it's called) has exclusive rights to Diamondback games.

That's what happens when I try to watch Dodger games on Prime ticket when they play the SF Giants, I'm forced to watch the bay area RSN for both away and home games.

It's odd that he was getting the games last season though.

I don't seem to get those on mlb.tv, so there's apparently another argument in favor of mlb.tv.

Yesterday was weird. Wanted to watch the Pirates / Phils game. It wasn't on the Baseball package on D on the 720+ Ch's. It wasn't on Root Sports Pit as they we're showing the Pens game. Cut in's only on MLB, Ch. 213, using the CSN feed. The guide showed the game on Ch. 214, but it was "blacked out". Checked the 600's and didn't find CSN Philly there, so I assume D still doesn't carry it??? It wasn't on Espn 1 or 2.
Was the game only being shown in Philly??? Thanx..

According to Indemand's Revised April-May 2013 Schedule the game was removed which i didn't see until the new schedule came out either late last night or early this morning. (Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles on MASN2 replaced the Pitt vs Philly game.)
