Have two Emotiva mono-blocks to drive my 300w Snell C7. I have three sets of posts for woofers, mids an tweeter on the speaker. Planning to bi-amp speakers keeping Emotivas for woofers and get another stereo amp or two mono with adjustable gain to drive midranges and tweeter in my speakers. Need advise which one(s) to choose. Thanks.

The general consensus on AVS is that bi-amping is a waste of time unless you have very inefficient speakers and/or very low power amps. You have neither.

I would consult the speaker manufacturer.

Bi-amp with electronic cross overs before the amp is really tricky,.

Works wonders in Pro-audio applications, but in the home it has as many draw backs as advantages, maybe more drawbacks.

I spent a lot of time on this and kind of gave up. I could never get the curve as good as using the speakers internal cross-overs post amp.

Unfortunately, Snell went out of business and I can't really talk to manufacturer. Snell C7 is 50-350W @ 4 Ohm speakers and at this moment I tri-wired them with two 400W @ 4 Ohm Emotiva XPA-100 monoblock power amps. Do you think being tri-wired they are sufficient for those speakers?
