Those are "real" dog tags. I thought he meant a code to unlock a special one on battlelog. Yes I would love to own them all but I know thats impossible since I would have to play all day everyday.

Do what I did when BF3 came out - pre-order at every location, then keep one and return the rest.

I do the same thing

Yeah those tags are "real" not virtual. Also got a code for a jet unlock package for bf3. Not real useful at this point

Jet unlocks?! HA

Is it me or does it seem like they're using the same weapons from BF3 but calling them different names? I suppose that makes it easy to just COPYPASTA their values over from 3 and boom you have a balanced game. Ha. And I'm so excited to see three perks per gun again. It'll be as if I got a new gamertag and had to start BF3 over again but with better(?) graphics. Can't wait!

Recon and Support must be amazing. No arms and you shoot with your feet.

Bf4 multi being shown right now
32v32 on consoles?
They mention 64 players but then again they were playing on a PC so I don't know. They never really say 64 players on a console
post #133 of 1754
The smartglass feature was sweet. Calling an artillery strike from your tablet.
BF4 Multiplayer looked EPIC at E3...
At the beginning of the show, they mentioned that everything was for the next generation, so I am sure it will be on consoles. And I hope they give us a good alternative for smart glass functions like calling in stuff, I don't like taking my attention away from the screen on shooters.
So far BF4 is the game of the show.
I went back and watched it again and he says "you can interact with the game from anywhere" on your devices. Does that mean I can call in artillery strikes without actually playing?

I would think they would.

BF4 does look amazing and I agree they stole the show.

Yes it is. Frostbite makes the game look beautiful, and it is running at 60 fps. This looks way better than CoD, and I hope it takes some sales away from duty so they actually have to innovate.

My preorder for BF4 on the XB1 is already in. My mind was made up before today but after watching the demo I am more convinced.

At least the BF4 MP demo wasn't scripted. rolleyes.gif

I think they purposely didn't come right out and tells us exactly what the deal is with the player count for one reason or another. Why is MS being so secretive, jeesh?

Yeah, all the other games look pretty disappointing, IMO. At least we know we can count on BF4. IDK though, that city seemed to have an awfully open feel to it. Guess it will be different than BF3 in that regard.

I am just surprised that the industry seems to be having trouble finding new unique games. They seem to be trying to redo that same type of games over and over in one fashion or another. TitanFall doesn't look to impressive to me. I'm just a little surprised here. It must be difficult to produce a mass market completely fresh, unique game.

I'm willing to bet Bungie does a good job on their new game. There just seems to be something about Bungie that I really like. There player mechanics and map aesthetics just always, to me, seem to be very nicely done.

bd2003, I took another look at you post in this thread where mention ibuypower as a decent place to purchase a gaming pc. I am pretty clueless when it comes to computers, but I need one all around...might as well make it possible to game on as well. Is it okay if I pm you for advice over the next couple months?

I watched E3 today on Spike TV. Is tonight's PS4 event on tv? It didn't look like it was going to be on Spike tonight.

Looking forward to joining up again in BF4 with you guys!

Yeah, that was a nice surprise. Love the look of it....although I dunno how the MMO element really works.

As far as I know Sony is not on TV, I find it weird but oh well.

Even though I will most likely be buying and purchasing the digital version of BF4, amazon has it right now for 59.99. If you preorder for that price and the next gen games are more money you still get it at the price you preordered for. I only mention this just because if it does become 69.99 for the xbox 1 games then you can save yourself the $10. This would be the only way I would keep my preorder from Amazon.

Another thing I noticed on the demo of BF4. If the C flag was up high on the skyscraper, where does it go after the building collapses? Do we have to find it in the rumble? I was curious to find out then the demo ended as soon as it crashes down. Also I love the taking down of the pillar when the tank was above it.

Yeah, the tank falling down was nuts. That's far beyond what you could pull off in BF3. Really can't wait to see more on it.....if anyone finds a 60fps video anywhere, be sure to post it.
