Logitech Z-5500 sub with Onkyo TX-NR609 receiver

Thread Starter
Is there a way to connect the subwoofer of my Logitech Z-5500 to my Onkyo TX-NR609 receiver ?

This sub seems to be designed to use with logitech's amp that comes with the kit...

IIRC, the logitech Z5500 only functions with its own control pod which is specifically matched to the subwoofer itself. I don't think it can be done TBH.

I believe it's been discussed on AVS before, and IIRC correctly it will work if you connect the AVR's subwoofer output to one of the inputs on the Logitech unit (but I can't recall which one). OP, search this site for more info.

-- Edit --
See post #18 in this thread. (Note: The OP in that thread has an AVR with dual subwoofer outputs, which is why he talks about running two RCA connections from his AVR.)
