"ORPHAN BLACK" on BBC America in HD - Page 8

Did she find the names of the other two clones in the papers from the briefcase? IIRC there were a few passports or other documents in there from clones we haven't met yet.

I lost count myself...

Sarah, Beth, the German, Allison, Glasses-girl, Crazy-blonde girl... Why am I only counting 6 and everybody else gets 7? Who did I miss? I gather there were other blood samples/documentations... so that's where the show can get to 9... but I can't get to 7.

Perhaps Sara's foster brother Felix is an example of cloning gone horribly wrong?

Don't forget Jim Caviezel - another Number Six relocated to The Village. What is he - chopped liver?

And how weird she also had some "clones" (of course the cyber type)
So we only know of six clones?

Yes, just six. But there are also clones pretending to be other clones of which I think we've seen three.

Alison being Sarah
Sarah being Alison
Helena being Sarah being Beth

Maslany has done a heck of job playing all of them.

That's my count... though they have had data or blood samples (it seems) from a few more clones that have not been seen on screen.
There were a few more in the briefcase I believe, one from Austria and one from France.
This show just keeps hopping along... the plot moved way forward AND the preview for next week seems to indicate further jumping. Nobody can accuse this show of dragging anything out I don't think. They are linking things together, revealing new things, and bringing the different storylines together at a pretty fast pace.

The crazy blond was hilarious in that ep. The restaurant scene, talking to Paul's pic. You totally forget it is the same actress playing all these clones.

When her and Sarah were talking I completely forgot it was the same actress playing both parts. Thats never happened before-not even Peter Sellers or Jeremy Irons could make me forget it was the same actor playing multiple parts when they did it. One of the most amazing performances I've ever seen. Even if the show wasn't any good it would be worth watching just for her.

I thought the restaurant scene was another good example of the right song playing on the soundtrack, since "I Got You Babe" was an audio reminder that Helena and Sarah are connected. Tatiana Maslany is doing a wonderful job as all the clones, especially crazy, tail-chopping Helena!

I just read that BBC Three has licensed Orphan Black for the UK. It's nice to see other countries taking an interest in the show (and providing some extra revenue).

And then she was dancing at the club swinging the tail around!!! Oh man!
Was that the tail? I thought it was the knife... oh well LOL

Mmm the lesbian clone it's monitoring her monitor but wants to bang her anyway...

It was definitely the tail.

Thanks for the picture, I was fixed on her movements and lifeless face (what an actress) that what she was holding in her hand.. LOL
post #238 of 537
Thanks for confirming. I originally thought it was the knife but I distinctly remember that image from the screen capture that made me change my mind. Plus at the end of the scene, Killer Klone (love that nickname) chucks it behind her. I don't think she would have done that with the knife. It seems to hold some extra value to her.

I missed the dancing with the tail... I thought it was the knife as well.

This is really a rare show.

Tatiana is so good that she could carry the show on her own... even if we complained about the plot, she would still shine... but the fact that they are backing the performances up with a solid plot and pacing so far... I think it would be hard to do this show any better than it is being done. That is rare.
