either, because I've already heard his weak "Eastwood" imitation in a comedy sketch some time ago. And don't let his Oscar fool you; what he did in Ray was nothing more than a brilliant impersonation of Charles, nothing more.
I won't go on and on here about how talentless Channing Tatum is, but if you like big, dumb action films with a lot of explosions, you'll love this. Rent, don't buy.
Pretty much took the words out of my mouth and just really perplexed as hell why all of sudden this hate for Foxx. I recall clearly back in the Ray and Collateral days "everybody" on here could and would not say anything bad about him.
I can't help it but think...hmmm maybe it's got something to do with all this fiasco with Paula Deen and the Zimmerman/Treyvon Martin case. The racial tension is starting to heat up again like the Rodney King and OJ years.
As with Channing Tatum I'm sorry but you cannot be more wrong. I respect your opinion but it's just that. He's the most prolific and most bankable young actor today. His future is huge, the guy can do just about anything: comedy, action, drama, history, Chip n Dale dancer,...anything. And Cmon when you get down right to it, he's very tolerable and not nearly as annoying as his other colleagues.
Let me ask you simply this? would you rather then have someone else in his movies like a Shia Lebouf, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, SEth rogan, J Franco, Ashton Kutcher, Robert Pattinson, Jonah Hill, ??? I don't think so ok...it could be a whole hell worse.
And right now he's still in the learning and growing stage, very similar to what Tom Cruise went through in the 90s except Channing is much more ahead of Cruise ever was and I predict he will become a bigger star in 20 yrs. What I mean by that is Cruise had a big persona and tons of confidence when he started out but didn't have much range and depth. Channing doesn't have the early star power as Cruise did but he has more range and versatility at the same age. He will only get better and his star will get bigger and bigger.
Hate him or love him, he's the Lebron James of actors now you can't deny that.Edited by zoey67 - 7/6/13 at 8:26pm
