The last two digits in a Denon AVR's model number indicates the model year - except for their highest end model. So the 3313 is from the 2013 lineup, as is the 2313, 2113, 1913, 1713, 1613, 1513. I think the 990 is as well, but that is a non-CI model and they are numbered differently so I am not sure. Very few Denon receivers are missing the banana plugs.
As I understand it, the main reason for going to spring clips on the lower end consumer grade models is because most consumers never use banana clips and HATE the twist down knobs. They would much rather have the far easier to use spring clips.
