55LM7600 3D Display showing large amounts of "Ghosting"

Hi folks,

I recently bought a 55lm7600 LG LCD/LED Smart TV, and have been very happy with it. That is, until I tried watching a 3D movie on it. The 3d image displayed shows a large amount of crosstalk or ghosting. I have a lm6410 tv aswell, and it shows no where near as much ghosting as the 55lm7600.

My question is: does this have something to do with LG's most recent update? Does anyone else have ghosting problems on their 55lm7600 tv, and can anyone recommend any fixes for this? I've played with the 3d settings, but still can't get rid of it.

Thanks in advance,

Is your head level with the center of screen? The way passive works if your tv is higher up above or below eye level you will get crosstalk.

I have a LG that 3d looked really crappy and unimpressive out of the box. In the Avengers, the scene with Black Widow pointing her gun at the camera in the shack looked terrible. The gun was not popping out and it was rendered like a double image and way out of focus. I changed the picture mode from the default in 3d mode to Cinema and the 3d was perfect after that. It sucks that it has to be changed every time I go into a 3d mode but it works for me.

Give that a shot and see if it improves.
