I'm thinking about cutting the cord, but first want to see what I'll be able to pick up.
Need help choosing an antenna that can hopefuly pick up the closest ABC staion that's in the gray area(62.9 miles) as well as local stations.
what are best case scenarios on what I'll be able to get. I live in town and a have a few big trees close to the house.
can someone suggest an antenna and any extra devices needed to maybe run 4 tv's in my house.
Thanks! I've added my tvfool report:

Why don't you invest $8.50 and experiment, maybe you easily collect more stations than you think. Those little antennas work remarkably well.

Reliable reception of ABC is likely not possible even if you do everything perfectly.

At 62 miles out with 2 edge reception, it will be a longshot. If you even wanted to attempt it, you will need a big VHF LO/HI/UHF antenna (WDTV is on Ch5). And most likely an amp. But for testing purposes, you can run a short coax without an amp from the antenna to a tv and see if you get anything.

Radio Shack usually has a good return policy. You can get an antenna from them, and if does not work, you can bring it back. You need something like this:

Or, for sake of testing to see if you can get ABC, you can get a smaller UHF only antenna. If you do get good results, you can bring it back and exchange it for the one above.

Either way, you are going to have to do some kind of experimenting. Do your neighbors get reception?
