That's easy. A professional calibration is not something many people buy. Just pick the mode you prefer other that Standard and Vivid, and enjoy. Later on you may want to tinker with something like the Disney WoW disk to adjust some of your settings.
Is there a way to know whst initial settings you entered at start up..I tried to skip them due to wanting to start the slides. I assumed you could come back to it.
As I understand the Panasonic displays, Standard mode is intended to get their sets a good power consumption rating. Vivid mode, or the equivalent Panasonic mode, is intended to make the set look better in a show room like Best Buy. Also be sure that when you originally started up your TV that you selected "home use" and not "showroom".
Don't spend too much time in calibration threads.
I seem to be confused about which model TV you have. I think I've seen referenced to the S60 and the ST60 in your posts. For instance, D-Nice has done settings for the ST60 models, but not for the S60 models.
As long as posted settings are for your model family, then try any posted settings that you want as long as they don't involve service menu changes. Your objective should be to find something that pleases you. You should also avoid concern over some unknown amazing picture qualities that you are missing.
