If I do that though, I don't get all the SmartHUB features on the TV because the cable box is hooked up to the F550's input and the F550 to the ARC input (HDMI 2) on the TV instead of the STB input (HDMI 1).
Is there any way around this? Or am I just going to have to connect the cable box directly to the STB input and have slightly lower-quality sound?
Does the Samsung HW-F550 pass through the 3D bluray video signal from it's HDMI input?
If so, I would connect the Bluray player to the soundbar HDMI input and connect the soundbar to HDMI 2/ARC input on the TV.
Then connect your cable box to HDMI 1 on the TV with an optical cable going from the cable box to the sound bar.
Then connect your Wii U to HDMI 3 on the TV. The Wii U will use the D. In input on the soundbar to play the ARC output from the TV.
If the HW-F550 doesn't pass through 3D bluray video signal over its HDMI input, then I would switch around the bluray connection and cable box connection from my suggestion above.
