Looking blu-ray disk with more than 40gb data

I have problem with blu-ray drive on my laptop to get data from movies using anydvd or dvdfab if the blu-ray contains more than 40gb. I had bad experience from Costco concierge who kept my machine for more than three weeks and returned it that they are not able to reproduce the problem. However, they tested with 15gb disk and told me that due to copy right they can't test with my disk. I never experienced from anywhere as worst service as Costco concierge. I clearly mentioned that the problem only happens with disks of 40gb of data. What is point of doing level 1 , level 2, level 3 tests with 15gb data. I get error that read failure for the so and so sector when disk has more than 40gb data.

Appreciate if anybody can share if I can buy any blu-ray disk with more than 40gb data but not copy righted. Unfortunately, I don't have blu-ray burner to create one. I am willing to buy sample demo disks as well.

You might want to try finding a firmware update for your BD drive and applying that before you go around spending money.

Those can usually be found on the mfr website for the laptop, if not for the drive itself.

I already tried. Also, I did reimage to the version that came with laptop. I had all this hassle for more than 6 weeks. Costco concierge service said I don't get support until I do all these things.

I never had problem before. I guess bd is not able to read some sectors on disk due to defective laser etc.
