LOL, you need to read my posts before you comment on them. I owned the Panasonic 60ST60 when it first came out. Had it for about 2 weeks and was getting stubborn IR. I was so hesitent on going to an LED after owning a plasma and said I would never do it again. Well I was offered a 60es7500 for less then what a 60ST60 was selling for so it was not like I was paying $2,000 and up for it which would have changed my decision in getting that TV.
When I first got the es7500 I was having regrets sending the ST60 back because it was still the most talked about TV and getting praised all over the place. 6 months later I am very happy with it but want something bigger. I do agree with the backlight setting though. I keep mine on 10 and eco sensor on 4. There is no need to go brighter then that in a dark room and it makes the picture look much nicer at night. If I could afford it I would be keeping the Samsung for my bedroom but I need to sell it to pay for the VT60.
I will report back on what I think of the pq once I have my VT60 setup and spend some time with it.
Your right eric3316. I am new here and kind of jumped in mid-stream- not reading earlier posts. I DO need to take the time to read prior posts especially from current frequent posters such as yourself.
