Slingbox "Remote" and "Receiver"

Thread Starter
Hello. Seriously considering slingbox. However I have no desire to watch it from a mobile device or from my laptop. (Slingbox will be in NJ, I will be in FL)

I do have a TiVo Box at the location where I would be streaming to. (FL)

However I like to access the ON DEMAND features and the channel guide through the NJ television provider.

What box in Florida is best? Anyway I can use the remote from NJ to control?

I really dont understand the "on display remote"?

Thanks

Then connect your laptop or phone to your TV...and bask in the low resolution, pixelated garbage that comes form attempting to stream high quality video over a low bandwidth internet connection.

There are a couple connected devices that support SlingPlayer. Look at the Western Digital (WD TV Play/WD TV Live/WD TV Live Hub, Sony Internet Player with Google TV (NSZ-GS7 GTV) or (NeoTV NTV300, NeoTV PRO NTV300S, NeoTV MAX NTV300SL, NeoTV PRIME GTV100.
