I have it, bought a case, 26.65 shipped a few months back. It pops up well but is way too salty IMO. I have adjusted by dumping the popcorn in and then holding back half the salt at the bottom and even then it's hit and miss.
How about buying buying a premium coconut oil, measuring and adding with bulk popcorn to suit your kettle size, and getting a big Jug of popcorn seasoning at Sams and adding to taste? Once you have tried a really good coconut oil, the processed rest simply does not cut it.
I'm sure that is what we'll end up doing. Made our first batch of great northern with about half the seasoning. Blows away microwave made. I have to make sure to turn the kettle off as soon as the popping stops since a few started to burn. A bunch of old maids too
A lot of those RTU packs are over salted so as to help establishments sell more beer/beverages. When you make your way to the end of your case, try making your next batch from scratch. Get a refined coconut oil like Spectrum or my new favorite Barlean's which is unrefined extra virgin coconut oil. it has a slight hint of coconut aroma, but not overpowering like Trader Joe's oil they sell. I use about 2 big tablespoons for each 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels and use Act III flavored popcorn salt to taste. So good with extra butter it makes your taste buds and future cardiologist jump for joy!!
