Im new to the home theatre game. After multiple useless purchases listening to floor salesmen from loacl stores, Ive ended up with the Klipsch Synergy F-20 speaker pack ( http://www.klipsch.com/f-20-home-theater-system ) and a Pioneer VSX-1016V Amp (http://www.pioneer.com.au/au/products/archive/VSX-1016V-K/page.html)
The sound for the system is at best loud, and great for action movies, but is lacking a certin wow factor. The same wow factor we heard in the store when we bought the speakers. Now i know accoustics in the store, different amp/setup have alot to do with the wow we heard in the store, but i cant help but believe that we can surely get more out of these speakers. I recently visited the big picture people who suggested that the best amp for my speaker system would be the Marantz SR5007, and from what I hear its a great amp, but I wanted the opinions of the enthusiast.
So if anyone could please help me out, give me an idea of what else would be good for this system, as i have no clue.
Also I noticed that the speakers can be connected via Bi-amping? I have heard the term but dont quite understand the benefits of it, and was told this can be done through this particular amp? how and why would I do this?
