I'm a little surprised there haven't been more takers on this topic. There was a time no so long ago when just about every Blu-ray discussion here seemed to devolve into a 2k vs. 4k debate. Now that 4k is basically a done-deal though, I guess it isn't quite as sexy a subject anymore.
As a (former?) TV viewer though, what I'm actually more interested in are developments in film-to-digital (2k or 4k) workflows, because imho the quality of TV production has gone way down due to the increased use of digital video capture (vs. film capture). Might be an interesting topic for another episode. There's a somewhat related discussion here btw...
