Want to replace the Harmony 880

Ok, in 2008 I got a Harmony 880.
From usage, the buttons are fading, and some are loosing there responsiveness. In addition, the remote doesn't hold the time properly, and when last updating it it failed and I needed to pull the battery to restart it. I was able to get it working, but obviously it's aged.
I looked around, and now all Logitech has are the 650 (would be going backwards), the Smart Control and Touch.
The issue is that it's not just for me, it's for my mother. So, I need something that doesn't change the layout and doesn't have a touch screen or pad.
I was looking at the URC's, but I hate the idea of not being able to update the configuration as needed. Especially because I am slowly replacing components.

Any advise on a replacement that's not too pricy?

UPDATE : Ok, the remote has started to simply not work without removing and re-inserting the battery.

New requirements are as fallows :
Can be programed at home, and has actual buttons.
If possible, I would like to get one that doesn't use a re-chargeable battery pack as I learned that the 880 has been kept in the cradle when not in use at all times.

Obviously want this as cheap as possible. Were maxed out at $200

Any advise?
The touch is out of the question, and I don't want to get a remote without an extended coverage option.
If need be, might be able to spend more.

650 is still the best fit for your requirements. Works the same as the 880, just has fewer devices.

I'll look into it, but I have heard about the buttons being problematic.
Also, my mother tried holding the 900 (It was on display at a store) and she she likes the way it felt in her hand. Not sure if I can talk her down.
The loss of the amount custom buttons will hurt, but if that's needed we will do it.

The non-touch screen requirement has been dropped, as well as the rechargeable battery.

If she likes the 900 and you don't need RF (you don't have RF now anyway), then the One is pretty much identical and will cost a lot less.

FWIW, I've personally found the buttons on the 600/650/700 to be far more reliable than any other previous harmony models.

As far as custom buttons, it's true you're going from 8 to 6 per screen. But they are larger and easier to read, which could be better for your mother anyway. I know my parents find the 6 function screen easier to use. There is no practical limit on the total number of custom buttons on the LCD. When you get a new remote, you'll have to rework all of that anyway, because none of your customizations get transferred, only your activities and devices, and possibly favorites (I don't remember exactly).

I found a Harmony 900 for $150.

And that's being ordered as it fits and can get extended coverage.
