One thing I have to say.. that Pulse server room scene is absolutely insane.. eek.gifcool.gifbiggrin.gif

Glad we figured out a solution Erik. --Pulse is awesome! I had to turn the volume down--didn't want to damage the sub lol

Hi there. I have downloaded a couple demo files from what seems to be earlier threads. But this collection, in review of actual content seems to be my preference. Can anyone kindly tell me how to download the torrent file to put into utorrent?

Reference 2 Visual Demo Disc Link

Before you can launch the link with your torrent client the DELETE.TEXT extension needs to be deleted

The first so many posts have an attachment for each disc. I have quoted one for example. As you can see it says "The extension "DELETE.TXT" needs to be removed before the link can be launched with your torrent client." so simply right click, hit rename and delete the ".delete.text" part as AVS forums block actual torrent attachments.

Ok I see. Thanks!

Would it be less confusing for people if the torrent link were zipped, instead?

Michael

Well the current procedure is fairly straight forward imo (and I know nothing about PC related stuff as you know wink.gif ) but I guess you never know..

I think the biggest thing is having clear instructions in the first post of the thread- with link. That's really all you need.

Subscribing. Can wait to start DL

Animation segment link can be found on POST #7

I have also added a link to the posts segments on the very fist post, that should keep the scrolling to a minimum.

Here's the link to... Just promise you'll go and read the intro for the segment sometime. tongue.gif

Awesome work guys. One thing, for some reason the Index file does not seem to work for me. The file shows up as 252B, which ironically is the same size as the one for the Visual disc which also does not work.

Anyone else seeing this issue?

^^^

Are you referring to the torrent link files? or the actual bluray index files?

In order for the link files to work you need to delete/remove the ".DELETE.TXT" extension from the file after is downloaded to your computer. In order to rename the file you can right click on the file and then chose "rename". Once this is done the file will be highlighted, move the cursor to the end of the file and just press "backspace", then just click "enter"

If you are referring to the index files in the bluray BDMV folder, this file has no actual use, it is part of the bluray structure needed for the disc.

If you are a little more specific we might be able to help you better.
Sorry about that superleo, I was referring to the index file in the blu ray structure. With all of the other discs I was able to unrar them, point xbmc at them and click on the index file. This would then open up the menu and allow me to use it just like I was reading it from a blu ray disc in a drive. For some reason the animation and the visual disc do not work trying this.

It's really not a huge deal, I was just wondering if the file on these 2 discs were different from the others in a substantive way, other than the different files of course.

Can't help you with Xbmc, since I don't use it. Maybe someone that has experience with it can comment.

I use TMT to test the discs and they all had worked with no problem... Well had small issues with the music segment but that was with TMT5 only and it was due to the 1080I/30fts on some clips. Other than that no real problems.
Hello

I have the same symptom as kertofer
Using Xbmc to open the the animation and the visual disc do not work also

Same if I used ImgBurn to make an iso file, it's not working

Other previous files are OK
Same with me! Hopefully the menu system will work for the complete disk when it's all put together.

On the other hand, the animation disc is fantastic! I had never scene the Madagascar scene before, but I can definitely see why it's ranked number one overall in the picture quality thread! The people in Happy Feet Two were so realistic I was definitely questioning whether or not they were real!

All the segments are created in the exact same manner. Don't know why some would work and some would not. If anything might had to be with the RAR process, although that in itself is the same too.

Not to create a commotion, and NO, it won't be release yet, but the full BD2 is ready and it has been tested via TMT and physical media and works well with no issues both ways. Whether something goes array with Xbmc would have to wait and see, although it shouldn't, but with conventional ways works perfect.
No worries man, I will wait for the full BD and see if it works. If for some reason it does not work with XBMC, I will simply burn it and use TMT. No biggie, I was just pointing out what I saw with XBMC in case it was anything that was more widespread than just XBMC misreading the index file.

Again, you can download each segment as it becomes available and then use the template that I am expected expect to make available once everything is finished. That will save you some download time at the end, and let you play with the files in the meantime.

I think it bears repeating that XBMC is new to full disc support. If it works in optical players and TMT it is likely that XBMC has bugs to iron out. All of Leo's disc play fine on my popcorn hour.
Are these still seeding? Not finding any peers.

Indeed. I can confirm the Animation segment's menu not working in XBMC despite the Bass and Surround segments working well. XBMC can still play the individual .m2ts streams without problem though.

Yes, double check your connection in utorrent..mutiple seeders. In options there is a way to test your connection. Try a different torrent client..that might help.
Can confirm neutro's confirmation.

Seeding from over the pond wink.gif

Many thanks, if this is anything like the other discs, then its going to be special.
I have downloaded all disc, un-rared, and copied the 5 folders to an external HD
My OPPO BDP93 plays all 5 BDMV folders flawlessly

Outstanding
It only took 4 hours to download all disks.
Thanks for all the seeders.
I am on Fios Quantum

I am now seeding all discs at my max upload rate.

Question:
When the BD50 files are posted, how do I go about making the BD50 BDMV folder structure of all 5 sub discs w/o having to download the complete BD50 disc?

Thanks for wonderful work..!!

I'll let you know as soon as I figure it out. wink.gif

The process will probably be the same as it was for Disc 1.

I should know by the end of the weekend (hint, hint).

Thanks Michael
For disc 1 I downloaded the BD50 right from the git go
So I did not have to assemble anything for that one.
I am subscribed to this thread, so I will keep watching.

Thanks again
