The Dr. Dre Pill appears to be a small loudspeaker/music player:

It appears to access music signals and accept control wirelessly.

You're not making any sense. Can you please write a coherent sentence so we can figure out what you're talking about?

I've heard of them falling out (I live close to West Virginia), but never hearing of one blowing. She does know that she needs to swallow birth control pills, right? biggrin.gif

You guys are too funny. Though, to be honest, without re-reading the title (and then remembering the stupid commercial for this device) I, too, thought, "WTF is this guy posting a birth control question on AVS for?!"

I'd say he was a manufacture's plant, but he's saying it's been blown pretty easily, so...that's unlikely.

Having said that, the original poster's native language may not be English...so, I'll cut him some slack (and also take into account how badly our schools suck and the age range this device targets, lol) and say: "bro, if your girl cranked some hot tunes on it really loudly, I bet she, like, blew it up."

It's probably a very cheaply made device with higher marketing costs than manufacturing -- sorry she fell for it. These Dr. Dre things feel like the next generation of Bose.

If only 20 days maybe you can return it? Most places will give you 30 days. Check out Beacon Audio Phoenix, only $100 and a pretty nice little speaker. At that price she can blow two of them smile.gif

This has nothing to do with Monster.

They have a one year warranty, contact them and tell them it just stopped working after having it for only 20 days:
Quote:
Your Beats product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase from an authorized Beats dealer. If a defect exists...

They were made by Monster up until the end of 2012.

Ah, I see...so we cannot be sure if Monster or Beats made the one he has.
