Panasonic VT60 Deals... - Page 9

The ST60 filter on the TV is not as good as the VT60
VT has better black levels
Better motion handling for movie and gamming then the samsung F8500 and ST60
Better Speakers/THX
Comes with a Camera

When calibrated will look better because it has day and night modes for ISF
Way better looking panel

better color reproduction

The list goes on.......

so unless you are getting your 60" ST60 for 1500.00 and you are happy with it get it. I know for a fact the ST60 65" can be bought for 2200.00 through EPP or best buy if you haggle .

It covers an EXTRA 3 years after your manufacturer's warranty (equivalent to the 4 year plan you bought) and the TV doesn't have to be purchased from Costco. Even if you aren't a member, there's only an extra $5 non-member surcharge.
yeah i am returning the warranty i paid 499.00 for 4 years

going to bring my receipt to costco and purchase the 3 year warranty effectively making it a 4 year after the manufacture warranty for 99.00
great deal thanks

Funny

you should post this online this forum and see how many people believe you

Hell, I know I don't. Unless you know someone (and even then it's a stretch), that's impossible. That's almost 50% off of a product officially released only a month ago.

As told by a friend who works at BB the BB employee cost for the 65ZT60 is about $2590 before tax.

Now I wonder if BB will price match a price after a coupon from a competitor... I've been lurking in this thread and it seems it's hit or miss with these coupons... I've been waiting long enough for a good deal on VT60, but I've been looking for a 55 though because that's ideal for my living room and I'm hoping that if BB doesn't match this 60 inch they may lower the price on a 55 incher to $1999 and that would still make me a happy camper. I'll give it a shot in a couple of BB's around me.
very tempting with that price, no tax and white glove plus local ships. Wife gave me the ok and actually prefers the 65" but I am only 7-8' from the TV so 60" seems like it should be good sized too. I currently have a 50' Kuro. Decisions

Bazylik, as I said in my post earlier, I went it wanting a 60ST60 but due to backlog, I was able to get a discount on a 55VT60 down to $1799.99 and I'm pretty sure you'll have a good shot at at least the $1999.99. I pulled this off in Maplewood, MN bestbuy. If you walk in wanting an ST60 and ask for a deal on a VT60 due to the issues you've got a great shot at getting your deal!

I asked for a price match for Paul's at Best Buy (Alabama) a few weeks ago and they would not match them. They are not listed on Best Buy's list of competitors that they will price match even though as I argued to no avail - they are authorized. As we all know, what you can get a Best Buy to match varies by store. If one says no hopefully you can venture down the street and ask another. A good shot to get a 60VT60 for under $2k is a little optimistic at this time of the year from a Best Buy. The Paul's deal is a very good one, but as we saw Saturday, Amazon dropped their price for a day and then it went right back up. Hope I am wrong - VT is a great display.

Finally pulled the trigger on 65vt60 - bought from Paul's TV for $2699 - they pay sales tax and free delivery (white glove). Getting it delivered on Friday. Can't wait smile.gif

Panasonic sent me an e-mail that they are having a 4th of July sale on the VT60 and are slashing $300 of the price on all sizes....

I still like the Paulstv deal better, but for folks who want a little peace of mind and want to buy straight from Panny its not bad...

BB should price match because Pauls TV meets their qualifications.

That's what I thought too. When I was in BB yesterday asking about the PM with Paul's TV the store manager didn't say no immediately. I showed him the price in the cart after applying the coupon and after that the store manager went and checked something on his computer for a few minutes and then said they won't be able to do it. Don't know if it was because of the coupon or if the price difference was too much. Anyway I wasn't going to ask for explanation and waste my time, just want across the road to Paul's tv and ordered the tv. Btw when I was in BB in Magnolia section couple of times in the past 2 days, there were hardly employees there to answer questions or help. I had to go around looking for remotes, DVDs etc and no one once came asked me if I needed any help. It looked like they couldn't care less if they sold anything! I was surprised by this, I go over to Paul's tv and is a completely different experience. Granted BB is much bigger and may be they sell a lot more TVs in the non-magnolia section.

I also have a 50 inch Kuro and trying to decide of a 60 inch or 55 inch from about 9.5. I know people say always go as big as you can afford, however 60 inches seems real large, I'm concerned I might see the pixels as well as dithering from 9.5 away.
