For anyone interested you can pick up a 60" VT from Amazon for $1900 by price matching paulstv and get 6% credit back from amazon bringing the total down to $1786.
I need the 55" and have not seen any movement on those and I think paul's tv is out of stock on the 55

I'm seeing $2499 at PaulsTV for the 60". The SAVE600 code isn't working. How are you getting $1900? I'd love to get this for this price.

The coupon has been working on and off from what I can tell. You can certainly contact them to get that price. I was going to bite but I think with the recent price changes across the VT, ZT, and F8500 this model might get a reduction at Amazon or Best Buy. The 60 inch VT is the one that is strangely price at this point and an associate at a Dallas area Best Buy told me they had 50 of them in the local warehouse so they're gonna have to price it better to move those otherwise it doesn't make sense compared to the ZT and F8500 current pricing.

How do you get them to price match Paul's TV?
Open a chat?

I did this 2 days ago as well. I opened a chat with Amazon and I told them about the coupon code (SAVE600) that had just recently expired, but that you could call PaulsTV and still get this price. The person at Amazon asked for PaulsTV phone number and called them to verify he could get that price. They verified it and he was able to get the pricematch. He said he had to jump through some hoops with his manager, so I didn't know how YMMV would be with this.

i wish i could get the 55" for that price from amazon. I got my stand all put together and everything. now i just need a price drop. I would get the 60 but it is too big as 55 is pushing it.

the 60 inch VT60 is 1703 plus tax..50 bucks for delivery at PC Richard's. You have to call to get the employee price. Deal was verified at Yonkers , NY store yesterday. If you go..ask for Fidel..tell him you are a friend of Gene on the AVS and he will take good care of you. The 65 inch was 2300 if I remember correctly.

Does BB Magnolia price match the PaulsTv discount? I just left them and bought it for 2200 but would like to take this print out to get the deeper discount.

I have no personal experience with BB but I believe when I was looking at their website the other day they list which retailers they will price match.

It's definitely not one of their listed online retailers. You can tell them Paul's is an authorized retailer and see but $1899 is cost for BB so if they see that expect a solid no. I've tried several times even as a negotiation and no such luck. Having already bought it and asking for a match might produce different results. Doesn't hurt to ask though.

I got offered the 60" VT60 today at BB for $100 over what Paul's has it for. I was returning a set and I could tell they didn't want me to leave empty handed. I didn't take the deal but I am thinking about it. They are coming to get my other set Tuesday (open box Sharp Elite). It's tempting but I am still thinking about the 65" instead. Honestly though the 60" would be big enough in my living room. I wish Paul's still had that deal on the 65" but it looks like they actually went up on the price and no coupon works now on it.

Lucky! I've been to several stores because I had seen the 60 inch on sale for 1999 awhile back but none of the stores around me will budge an inch.

Try calling Paul's and seeing what they'll do on the 65. Even though the site might have gone up, they'll probably give you the better price just by calling. I called them once to see what the price was while the coupon wasn't working online. Didn't even mention the coupon, just asked what their best price was.

It's funny you mention Pauls smile.gif. I just chatted with them to see if they could match the $3099.99 price they had over a week ago and metioned the "SAVE600" coupon to get it down to $2499.99 shipped. They would only go to $2599.99 at first which isn't bad. We got disconnected on accident so I initiated another chat sessoin and got the same person. I told him I got disconnected and without even asking, he stated he would do the $2499.99 if I ordered today! So I jumped on it. I doubt I could get it any cheaper. I didn't want to spend quite that much but I would be wondering if I should have gone bigger if I had got the 60".

My Best Buy offered me the 65" VT60 for $2799.99 plus tax when I was setting up the pick up for my tv. They seemed to bend on the 60" more than the 65" model though. I heard a rumor though that the 60" versions are not selling as well so Best Buy supposedly has a lot of them in their warehouse (where as the 65" is in short supply). Best Buy is going to pick up my sharp elite tomorow and credit me. I wish that would have worked out but I had to many issues with 2 of them (one new and one open box). I wasn't planning on coming back to plasma, but that is a great deal and I don't feel there are a lot of other options (coming from a former Kuro owner).

Also I think the reason my Best Buy offered me the 60" for $1999.99 was because they didn't want to lose a purchase. I am sure they have more stock to move also but I think that is the primary reason.

You're awesome YOTR! I just called Paul's TV and got the same deal. Just ordered the 65" for $2,499.99 total, shipped. At least $300 cheaper than anywhere else I've found (that I trusted). Thanks!!

I just received my 60" VT60 from greystoneappliance.com (paid $1854 delivered). I did opt for the free shipping so it did take three weeks to be delivered, but that was expected. The free shipping was still white glove in my case, via Radiant. The driver helped me carry it downstairs and install the stand. Their was no call to up sell me from this site and all emails were replied to the same day.

That's great! Congrats! The best I could do locally was a little over $3000 after tax (Best Buy). Online wise I was seeing the same thing as you. I am on a budget and couldn't really afford to go over $2500 so I am very happy with the price.

Great deal!

I already purchased the 60" VT but before I did I started a chat with Amazon to see if they would match. I was told they had to forward the request to their TV Dept...they couldn't do the deal on the stop. So, I ordered from Paul's because I couldn't risk losing the $1899 deal.

Anyway, I did get an email this morning from Amazon stating they would match the price.

So, if anyone is interested in purchasing from Amazon mention the Paul's price with the Save600 coupon.

Just received my $1899 60" VT60 from Amazon. Set it up and it's gorgeous. I don't hear any of the fan noise that others are dealing with.

Just went to Schaumburg IL BB Magnolia and they priced adjusted my purchase for the vt60 to Paulstv of 1899. All i needed was proof they are authorized and the Paulstv sales with save600 price.

Got the 65VT60 @ $2499 no tax deal from Paul's TV 3 weeks ago, in store.
Yet they still have not delivered my TV or given me a delivery date.

Thinking of going to BB with my receipt, but its really ambiguous about the tax portion and its hard to tell that they are covering it.
I mean If I didn't know they were covering it I wouldn't be able to tell by the receipt.

Not 100% sure what my options are. What would you do?

I would first see if they have it in stock. All the ones i did go to showed that they were not stocked at there storage facility. Nevertheless. I would try at least since it paid off for me yesterday. I originally bought 60 for 2250 few days later they reduced it to 1899. Other bb didnt even flinch and shot me down

I called a PC Richards store in Philly and they would need a price from a store showing the tv to be that low $2269 for them to sell at that price. He said if I could show him a store selling at that price he would sell for that price.
