Nice.

Inspired by actual events, a group of fame-obsessed teenagers use the internet to track celebrities' whereabouts in order to rob their homes.

Guys, seriously? Just tell me it's because Emma Watson grew up.. give me some plausible motive to cling to here.

From the trailer I have no idea if the film is gonna be good, but there could be an interesting commentary about our current Twitter society in there somewhere... I'll probably check it out on Blu-ray though.

Emma Watson grew up? I didn't notice. biggrin.gif

I loved Lost in Translation so I'll always give Coppola a shot.

Yeh, given Sofia's track record, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

I like every movie of hers that I've seen. She has her own aesthetic and pretty much has mastered the usage of music in her films. I'll happily watch anything she makes.

Ouch. You guys are cruel.

For me, LOST IN TRANSLATION is a perfect small film. I have watched it more times than I can cout. But it is her only good film, imho. Virgin Diaries was a bore and the two follow-ups to LIT Left me cold. I couldn't even finish "Marie Antoinette" and "Somewhere" went nowhere.

To be fair, Sofia Coppola will be the first to tell you that her performance is awful in that movie. She only stepped in as an emergency last-minute replacement after Winona Ryder had a nervous breakdown. She wasn't supposed to be in the movie. Francis Coppola desperately needed somebody to stand in front of the camera and recite lines, and believed that he could coach his daughter through it. He was wrong.

Agreed.

However, I still don't understand why he couldn't have brought in a last minute replacement from the rolls of SAG.
It seems to me there would have been SOMEONE with professional experience who had some free time.confused.gif

Two: Sofia Coppola and Taissa Farmiga.

Sofia has never made a completely perfect film, but all of them- the ones I've seen, anyway- have something to offer.

I loved The Virgin Diaries and Marie Antoinette was beautiful in it's own regard. I loved her musical choices in both of those. The music alone almost made the movie for me in MA.
