Have to agree with Mike2 on the G70. Mine looks great on a 54x96" screen. Check with Tom Young at Cinemasource. Each of the devices mentioned has its strengths and weaknesses. I recommend you go out and look for yourself and decide what looks best and fits within your budget.

Dave, you must be thinking of the D50. The G70 is one of the best 8" projectors around with liquid coupled lenses and light output of 240 ansi lumens, higher than either the Nec or Barco. It also comes with component inputs for HDTV sources.
At the Infocomm 98' projector shootout the G70 was compared to the Nec XG135LC. Both were scored the same except on brightness. The G70 measured 241 ansi lumens while the XG135LC measured only 176 lumens. In terms of resolution both were found to be capable of 1600x1200.
Sony projectors also carry a 3 year warranty.
