The entire Oasis catalog and all concert I can find on Youtube.Dont know how I missed these guys when they were together but they are damn powerful with great guitar chops.Yes the lead singer stares down the audience like he is god but thats part of the fun.

In the "britpop" golden days, imo Pulp was a much more original band than the Oasis siblings...

Maybe, but to be fair, Oasis never proclaimed themselves to be so. They knew who they liked (huge Beatles influence), put their own spin and sound on it, and IMO it turned out pretty well. It helps that they were some really good musicians

Beady Eye which is excellent Oasis offshoot with Liam Gallagher and have two cd releases.High Flying Birds with Noel Gallagher who has a dvd concert and a cd.Both brothers still showing their sixty influences yet both bands extremely different.

The Glorious Dead by The Heavy

One of the best albums of the last decade or so, if not ever.

Ladytron - Light & Magic

One of the few bands proving there's warmth and soul in electronic sound. I should also mention that one of their songs is prominently featured in the the movie Plague Town, which belongs in the horror thread... wink.gif

Black Angels reminded me of TAME IMPALA...I LOVE THIS RECORD this track in particular has something about the guitar riff that drills into my head just right. Datass probably didn't hurt any either.

But I'm actually listening to The Cure Disintegration.

+1. Their best album in my opinion, and one of the best in my collection. Incredible and beautiful.

Most of the soundtrack is good too. There's a good Hum song on there and "Ghosts 'n stuff" will take the air out of your lungs with a good sub or two.
