Right now I'm listening to a Beethoven piano quartet, which he wrote when he was 15.... Listen to the 2nd movement at 6:54.

No need to comment - as the great philosopher Eminem would say, "shut up and listen". wink.gif

Its a nice song and shes got a beautiful voice. Besides, what I like about this thread is that it's "what are you listening to now" instead of "dood best song evar", which of course is not possible.

Ha ha. I know, right? cool.gif

Tell that to the posters in most of these types of threads (not so much at AVS, but in plenty of other forums). Too often these types of threads end up as a handful of people posting "I'm listening to a more obscure band than you are."

Now I'm going to sound like a hypocrite. biggrin.gif (but I really am listening to it and have been a fan of Ott for years).

Diggin that! Reminds me of Robert Miles' Dreamland album but without the techno beat. 👍

Cool. Not familiar with that album, but it you like that Ott song, you might enjoy his first album BlumenKraft, which is outstanding, and the works of Shpongle, Hallucinogen, GXR, and Carbon Based Lifeforms. Shpongle and Carbon Based Lifeforms (CBL) get a lot of play at my house and have for years. They fit many moods and occasions.

Oddly enough, I think Amazon's recommended-for-you algorithm led me to the others over the years after I got my first CBL CD about 8 years ago.

It's a brilliant marketing tool. Not only does it sell a lot of stuff for Amazon and its third-party vendors, but I think customers by and large don't mind it, and indeed probably many of them like you or me find it very useful and beneficial to us too. Win win.
