Denon DVD-1930ci vs. Onkyo C-S5VL

I've had the denon for a while now, but just picked up the onkyo for a ridiculous price. Which one would you guys keep? My wife won't let me keep both. I've read reviews of both and both are good.

Does no one have an opinion on either of these players?

I don't have either yet, but I have a 1930ci on the way.... I think this will boil down to how you like the sound of either... the denon with the burr brown 1738 dacs or the onkyo with the wolfson 8740 dacs... other considerations, the quality of the pre-amp section on the players, how big they are (if you have space limitations - the 1930 is so nice and slim).... my hd-a2 has the same wolfson dac as your onkyo, but only one, and I am about to go dual burr brown 1738 so I am interested to hear the comparison myself. I will let you know what I think when I have a chance to a/b test.

Personally I'd keep the Denon since it also plays DVD's, and many other formats the Onkyo won't play. I have a couple 1940ci's, which are identical to the 1930's, they've been very reliable so far. They will both sound the same.

Why will the wife only let you keep one? It's not like you'll get much for either used. I think I paid $69 for the 1940ci's, brand new from Amazon, over 4 years ago.
