Did I buy the right fan?

I bought this fan to do a fan mod on my inuke 6000, but the original fan only has 2 wires and the new fan has 3 wires and I have no idea if it is even possible to wire it up.

I don't know if the fan is the right one for that amp, but I can tell you that it will plug in fine. The yellow wire is not used in this application, it is just an RPM wire used in computers to allow them to control their speed. Just use the Black and Red.

I have NU6000 DSP and swapped the stock fans with Noctua 80 mm fans. It also had three wires. As the other poster mentioned, the third wire is to regulate fan speed. Just leave out the third wire and plug in the other two. What I did was I removed the fan socket from the main board and exposed the bare pins, and just plugged in the new fan. It sure does not regulate the fan speed, but it is not required either.

I have tortured my amp to death, and never ever did it get even warm; let alone hot.

I have swapped the fans with two of these and it works perfect. No probs as of yet.

I did look at the other ones but these seem to run at a better rpm than them.
