Maybe you can try setting TrueMotion off for Netflix. Here is another post from a different forum on how to do it.
if no one has answered you question about changing the pic setting while on netflix or any other "app" that was my first downfall with the tv. i got the tv when it frst came out and after playing for a few hours i figured out a few ways both are dumb and hopefully LG/Google will fix this in future updates seeing how we still are only running honeycomb 3.2 when jellybean 4.3 is soon being released for other devices.
anyway here are the ways i found out by messing around:
1) The easier way; when you turn the tv on hit the "Home" button on the remote. Scroll to "All Apps" then open "settings" NOT "Quick settings". When you are in "settings" just leave it open for about 5 seconds or it wont work. Next you can just hit "back" until you are at the Home menu again. Then open netflix and make your movie/show selection first and make sure its playing. then while Netflix is playing a movie/show hold the "Home" button on remote until a menu pops up on the screen should be "notifications/Recent apps" you will see the "settings" in the recent apps scroll down to setting and then you can go to picture and sound and then picture adjustment and you can adjust the picture settings or any other settings for that matter. Sad you have to go through all that just to change settings on such and "smart/advanced" tv. I also have the 55LM9600 witch is not google but smart and you don't have to go through any of that. Tisk Tisk LG
2) (only works if you have an android device. Not sure if IOS "iPhone etc." devices support the app) Go to the play store on your phone or android tablet and search " Google TV Remote" it is free and kinda handy. Go a head and download it open it and make sure your tv and phone are both on the same WIFI network and then hit connect to google tv the phone will search for a google tv on the same network and if it found it it should pop up on phone "eden-xxx-xxx-x-xx" (IP address) and on your tv a code will automatically come up just type the code from the tv on in the phone and hit pair. Once paired, your phone will be a remote. On your phone the very bottom right hand button it will be "3 dots" touch that then a small menu will come up on the phone that says " switch box, more short cuts and about" touch more shortcuts and when the next menu come up the very bottom button will say "settings" touch that and there you go the settings menu will come up on your tv if you did everything correct.
