Help me choose a budget system for small room

The reason I'm looking at this type of system is space, I have a room 24 feet by 20 feet.
I don't want standing or tower speakers as I really don't have the space for those, I need small portable speakers.
I also don't need a lot of power for a room that size, nor do I want a super powerful system as I live in an apartment, I'm more interested in immersive clear sound at low volume.

locally I can buy:

Energy Take 5.1 - $200

Acoustic Research HC6 - $180

On Amazon.com:

Polk Audio RM705 5.1
http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-RM705-Theater-System/dp/B000WGJX5A/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
$190

Jamo S 426 HCS 3 WENGE
http://www.amazon.com/Jamo-426-HCS-WENGE-5-Piece/dp/B003GGXGU6/ref=sr_1_14?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1367772113&sr=1-14&keywords=klipsch
$176

I'm so torn between all these systems, which would be best?

Well, the Jamo has tower speakers, so wouldn't that be out? Although, that's the one I'd go with, no replacement for displacement, as they say. I had the Energy Take Classics, they were pretty good. I imagine it all comes down to preference (sorry!), which one sounds best to you, and all that.

Keep in mind with the Jamo, you would still probably want to add a sub.
