I'm surprised you can hear those little toys you have now at all.
Those speakers were used for years in a small room with a 46" tv, they are terrible with this projector setup. That's why I need new ones. I would love to have the L/R speakers on the sides of the screen, but there are windows behind those curtains, can't mount them there. You can't tell from the picture, but there is a doorway next to the left window, and the kitchen by the right window. I suppose I could still mount speakers in those spots, but it wouldn't look right and they would both be blocked by walls. I could get some stands, but I'm afraid my kids might knock them over. That's why I ended up settling for their current positions and just have them angled down.
Do you have any recommendations for a set of 5.1 speakers, under $1000?
