Refurbished Velodyne FSR-15

I refurbed an old Velodyne sub with a new amp. Obviously I had to disconnect the servo circuitry and the remote no longer works with it either. I stuck a 150 watt Earthquake amp in it. How much do you guys think I could get for it?

No one has any idea what this thing is worth?

What price do you have in mind?

It's a old subwoofer with an after market amp. Based on the age and condition $100-150

I paid $100 for the amp alone. A piece of crap Polk PSW-10 costs $100 and this will stomp all over it. It's gotta be worth a bit more than that.

I was hoping for at least $250. The sub was about $1500 new and I've seen several on fleabay for $150 with busted amps.

Thanks though.

if you would of fixed or replaced the amp with a another velodyne piece then yea i could see it being worth more. however i doubt you will get more than 200.00 for it jmo.

OK, so the remote doesn't work any longer, nor does the servo, and I strongly suspect that the FSR 15 had more than 150 watts. How much does it weigh? What about shipping costs? The market will sort out what you can get for it. If you can get $250, Bravo.

I see where your coming from.

Here's a few reasons why the sub is hard to market for 2-300$,

Reliability, its an old subwoofer with a replaced amp
specs are now a mystery because of the amp
Market will be local unless someone is willing to pay shipping

Specs aren't a mystery. It's the same driver in the same box with just a bit less power. Amplifiers don't make speakers sound different, all they do is give it power. So maybe 2 dB's less output. Otherwise it should sound the same unless it's overdriven.
