I remembered I had Chrome on my old junker laptop, and it did download fine the second time after stalling out at 8 GB downloaded the first time. It's a strange download service, though. Chrome also asked for permission to store a lot of data locally, and when finished, it copied the file to another location, leaving the original behind in its cache (sorry, I don't remember the folder name, but check in AppData/Local and Roaming and get a "Properties" on the Chrome folder - if it's 13 GB or more, the original file was left behind). I don't know what the point is in not downloading in the usual way.
Anyway, I don't have a Bluray burner, but I extracted the files with WinRAR and decided to keep the following ones:
They add up to 6.85 GB. There was a fourth large file, but it was just about totally redundant, containing material from the others, which are some nice demos indeed. These files play fine in XBMC.
