How about this for customer service from BB/Magnolia (San Francisco Area)? I put a deposit on a TC-P65ZT60 while on sale in December (didn't need it yet). They called me two weeks ago and mentioned that they were being discontinued (which I knew about) and suggested I pay in full. I came in and did so 1-1/2 weeks ago. Yesterday they set up a delivery appointment for this weekend and today they emailed me back to say that they sold my set to someone else and had no more available anywhere in my region. But if I want, I can get an 8500 series Samsung for only $100 MORE than what I already paid for the 65" ZT60. Wow, what a great deal. The untrusting person in me thinks that they found someone willing to pay more money now due to the shortage, but perhaps it was a mistake.
I remember working in warehouses when I was younger and "paid for" merchandise used to be labeled with the buyer's name on it. What a bunch of crap. Strike me off the BB/Magnolia satisfied customer list.
Damn, that sucks! What's your next move?
