I got mine in OR. They price matched EPP and I also mentioned that someone else on the board got it for $3100 through Video Only (which was across the street).

Just a heads up, BBuy has the 60ZT60 for $2,699, even though its not listed in the weekly ad.

Went to another BBuy in my area, and they had the same setup, with a VT mounted above a ZT for comparison. They were running the BBuy sample feed, unlike the BluRay/Digital jukebox as in the other store, but I finally got to adjust the two different displays to be "exactly" the same via settings menu. They were displaying the same quality image, and had the same shadow detail (some content had black crush under the VIVID mode, but was negated in THX Cinema mode...thinking I didn't check that someone adjusted that mode last time in the other store, making the VT seem "hazy". The first time in the store, the VT was actually "dimmer" than the ZT while watching the same Iron Man 3 scenes.

Long story short, the 2nd BBuy did not have TVs opposite the VT and ZT, so there was less light to reflect off the screen, and while the VT had more reflections than the ZT, the image displayed was nearly identical, save for the whites being a little darker/redder than on the ZT. I'm thinking it could be dialed out with calibration, and it wasn't enough to be distracting. If the ZT were not directly below, I probably would not even notice. Think I'm gonna go ahead and get the ZT with this price drop today however...salesman said he'd extend the price protection thru Black Friday.

Sales price or negotiated price? Im returning my 65ZT60 for fan noise. Beware the fan noise! Chance are slim you'll get a bad set but you may get one. The exchange is scheduled for next week. I get a new 15 day return period. Another chance to match a lower sales price and get refunded the difference.

I talked them down to it.

Mine should be delivered on Monday of next week. Unfortunately no special financing with this deal. Almost pulled the trigger from Panasonic Direct over the weekend for $3,074.99 plus tax (EPP price) but only curbside delivery. Still thinking about the $99.99 Costco 4-year warranty (1 manufacturer + 3 Squaretrade) warranty...

For those of you that have purchased a ST60, VT60 0r ZT60 from Paul's within the last 30 days, it may be worth a call to them for the price guarantee reduction since all of the 60" and 65" ST60, VT60 and ZT60 have been on sale since Sunday with coupon codes.

Not sure if I can post the codes or where to find them...

First, I want to thank EVERYONE on the boards for all of your input regarding this TV. I have ready every post and check the site daily.

Second, I feel the ZT is definitely worth the investment. Even compared to the VT, the price difference is worth it. The background detail is amazing and is the main difference (visually) between the two. I have been waiting for this to come down to $3K since it hit the market. I missed the first Best Buy drop as I was on vacation

Finally,

I found the coupon code online (easy peasy search) and purchased the P65ZT60 from Paul's TV. Free white glove delivery. No sales Tax. $3799.99 - $800 coupon = $2999.99 total.

Thank you so much for the post. It made my weekend. Now I just have to get it broken in and get D-Nice out here to calibrate it!

I built a room around this TV and will share pictures once it is in. I am pairing it with 5 B&W M-1 speakers, the B&W PV1-D sub and the Denon AVR-X3000 receiver.

I looked up the TV on the Best Buy site, and the price is listed at $2,699...almost didn't look given that neither the VT nor ZT were listed as being on sale in the weekly specials, despite there being a notice about a "Magnolia sale".

I'm thinking may be some more wiggle room in it, with this recent price cut, or at least get something else thrown in (surge protector, stand, BluRay, etc), but I'd been fighting a PC problem all weekend and just wanted to get on with it. I put a deposit down on the ZT just last Thurs, but was having 2nd thoughts having seen the VT vs. the ZT in a "better" environment (less light), and just went ahead and got it. Feeling more better about laying out the cash with my stock up 25% this morn. biggrin.gif

60ZT60, for $2,699 at Best Buy (sale price as of 10/20/13). I was basically shopping the 55VT60 vs. the 60ZT60, based on size. I'd have been fine with a 50", given my current 42" Panny 700U. I thought If I got the 55VT, I could keep my room layout the same, but anything over 55", I'd have to move furniture around. 8ft. away from the 60ZT feels like I'm "at the theater".

Monday I ordered a 65ZT60 from Amazon for $3599.98 (I called and they did a presale price match of BB's sale price). Saw your post and called Amazon again and they did a match under their price guarantee, refunding me the difference between that and Paul's sale price of $2999.99. Had to pay tax, but since my tv will be here tomorrow I wasn't going to quibble about that. Anyway, just wanted to thank you and BigSkullz!
