How can I get my kuro 60" fd-150 repaired???

Just a few minutes ago my Kuro 60" fd-150 (installed 1/14/2008) started a little flickering. The pic would go out for 1 sec and come back on. I thought it was the tv station but switched to a few others and same thing. I am using a directv dvr and a pioneer elite (2008) model receiver. I never had a problem. Hopefully this will go away when I put the set on in a few minutes but even if it does I need a repair plan for the future. As we know the set weighs about 135lbs and I have it wall mounted. I live in Easton, PA 18045. I would need a repairman to come to my house. This again is preliminary as I haven't called Pioneer yet, but since these sets were discontinued and Pioneer no longer makes them are there parts for them? Will someone come to the house? Can anyone point me in the right direction. Regards...

There are still parts available for Kuro TVs because of clumsy couriers. Places like ShopJimmy collect smashed up TVs, strip and test the parts. So you should have no difficulty with parts as long as the fault isn't too common, and to be honest, I see very few faulty Pioneer plasmas. As for repair, depends. You need to either find a reputable TV repair shop, or you can do it yourself, if you have basic electronic test skills.

Thanks for the reply. I just want to report that I have watched the Kuro for 4 hrs yesterday and about the same today, Monday, and she was rock solid. I do not know what happened yesterday with the flickering. It also could have been my directv dvr or my Pioneer receiver. whatever the case might be as of this writing I do not have a problem. I was so excited I just bgt the Harmony Ultimate remote. Having such a huge heavy TV, wall mounted has always panicked me whenever I see even a small glitch. I will be getting in touch with Pioneer because I need some type of repair plan for the future. Hopefully I will never have to implement it. Regards...
