Hi All,

I am in the market for setting up my first HT. After getting some input from this forum I have decided to slowly built a good sounding HT.

Info:

Room Size: 16X 24
HT: With TV in living Room, Sony NX 8101 55 inch TV, PS3, Apple TV
Possible Speakers:

Will start with 3.1 config and built up to 5.1 and may use zone 2

Planned Sub: Klipsch RW 12d
Speakers: ARX vs Ascend CBM 170SE's

What would be good AVR for this setting?

I am looking at these options : Yamaha V573 vs Sony STR 1030 vs Onkyo NR 515

Would Sony have advantage in integration due to other "Sony Components- PS3 and TV ?

I would appreciate any input,

Thanks a ton for your help in advance

Sony has more power, wifi, blu-tooth, its auto room correction is better at this level.

If you can live with its slow and ugly GUI then it's the best out of those 3. IMO of course wink.gif

Thanks for reply.

I am leaning towards yamaha v673 for more value for money with features vs denon 1913.. Sony has tons of connectivity option but with Apple TV and Sony TV which is dlna I don't feel the need for that .. GUI is pretty frustrating from what I was reading .

What do you suggest?
