HELP - Overheating Yamaha RXV567 - not enough power for my Athena AS?

I had an older Denon that powered my system fine. I got a good deal on this receiver but it over heats and powers down. Just wondering if it doesn't have enough power for my speakers. It works fine until played at higher levels. My speakers are Athena AS F2, B2, C1, P6000. I've checked my speaker wire, made sure there's no dust, and it has lots of ventilation. Plus any help setting up the reciever for these speakers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

Make sure all your speakers are set to SMALL so that the subwoofer handles all bass frequencies. Set the crossover to 80hz and you should be fine.

With the sub handling all the low frequencies it takes a load off your receiver and makes it easier to drive the other speakers.
