Any previous VT owners here? Curious to hear your thoughts on brightness between the two.

Just got home and doing my preparation for delivery tomorrow morning! Working Memorial Day so I can take off tues and Wednesday to enjoy time with my new ZT! Since you mounted yours can you comment on the size of screws attaching the tv to ur mount? I'm assuming M6s and spacers?

Used to. I'm now in Riverview which is east of Tampa.

The biggest winner on picture quality I have seen so far on this beauty is the opening scenes of The Avengers- specifically the details in Sam Jackson's leather jacket and the darkness in those areas (and the amazing amounts of detail I had never seen before!)

Anyone else have a recommendation to check out right away?

I'm watching Pan's Labyrinth right now which is a perfect movie to burn the TV in (16:9). It's beautiful and very, very dark too...

Katzmeier's review on CNET:

Each TV also gets a unique "sequential number." The one on CNET's review sample was A00000; the bidding starts...now!

I received my ZT60 on saturday... while I began to run slides I noticed that one inch from the top to bottom on the right edge has a dark tint compared to the rest of the TV. I find it quite concerning as only slides and blue ray have run on the TV. I cant imagine this is a IR issue. Any thoughts? Help would very appreciated

Already watched it last night. Looked fantastic! Can't see it in 3d so may buy an Oppo bdp103 and run 2 HDMI cables from it in the near future. (Amp is HDMI 1.3a only...)

Has anyone mounted theirs up yet? If so, what size screws did it take for the mount - M8x40? (I'm too impatient, want to get everything set up and waiting for it).

Everyone seemed to be saying they'd get a ZT, if they had the cash and had to pick from this year's offerings at the UK shootout last weekend:

http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/zt65-kuro-201305283044.htm

Also seemed like the Kuro they had was even better than the one at the US shootout!

VT60 & VT25. It's brighter than both in my opinion. It also takes on less glare.

Still just sitting here watching slides but I am astonished on the panels ability to block light and prevent reflections

So I went ahead and set up an exchange of my 65 VT60 for a 65 ZT60 since I have a lot of ambient light. June 8th can not come soon enough!

That's awfully nice of Best Buy to accommodate. What are they up-charging for the ZT?
Seems mostly southerners getting this - is this cause they're being ground-shipped from Mexico?

Any North-Easterners get their sets yet??

Im just waiting to see the first New York/Massachusetts sets delivered so I can infer us canucks won't be far behind!

I am in Canada, and my 65ZT60 is going to be here in the next couple of hours!! I am upgrading from a 65VT50. I will post some impressions about it later. I will let you know how much of a difference the ZT is over the VT50.

Yes, please do. That would be a great help to me at least as I'm upgrading from a 65VT50 to a 65ZT60 as well.

PS - Besides I like your alias as I have two Velodyne in my system and have used only Velodyne since 2000.

Is there less fan noise on the ZT then the VT? How about DSE/vertical banding?
I could not get the slide to work on USB input.
So I left it on HBO overnight and it is still on
On that channel. Any problem with doing that
For break in?

Is the fan noise noticeable on your VT60?

What's the MSRP of the ZT60? I checked both panasonic.ca and futureshop.ca and neither web site has the ZT60 listed yet.
