...can any current owners of the ZT60 recommend a good low profile wall mount for it?

Well I just completed the latest update 2.864 and then checked the hours. Just like vinnie97 now my hours are higher in the status4 then in the service menu. Do not know yet what the update did but will try to find the answer later.

Just placed an order for a Zt60 from Panasonic direct. Hopefully my set has no issues!

I did the same just now. Haven't gone back to the service menu since, but Status4 jumped a full 1 to 2 hours from pre to post firmware upgrade (660 --> 662). The update took about 10 minutes at most. I'm not sure what this means other than the Status4 timer seems to engage time travel. smile.gif

Yes, I did the software update also! Wish I knew what it did.

My bet is it relates to the SmartTV apps.

You can't connect the TV via Ethernet cable? How about WiFi?

Anyone run an OPPO 105 with the ZT? Wondering if it would provide any kind of picture improvement over my PS3 while playing Blurays.

I think not (I have the 103). Generally, a raw video signal is preferred when it comes to HDMI video signals. Now the Oppo with the internal Darbee processor might be worth an upgrade over the PS3: http://www.audioholics.com/blu-ray-and-dvd-player-reviews/oppo-bdp-103d-blu-ray-player-darbee-visual-processing

Thanks guys. Kind of what I thought. I am still interested in the 105 for it's audio capabilities.

Let's not stray too off topic but:

ESS Sabre 9018 DAC and dedicated analog 2 channel output.

Im not going to bother with the research but I cant imagine the Oppo having any special audio capabilities that a good AVR for much less money wouldnt. Really just depends on what you need.

I run my u-verse cable box on 720p vs 1080i. I found it richer in overall quality. What do you run?

Playing regular DVD's yes, a standard Blu Ray playback, I do not think you would notice a difference in over all PQ.

If you ask the same question in the 103/105 owner's thread the answer would be the same. Also there is no difference between the 103 and the 105 as far as video processing is concerned. The only reason to buy the 105 over the 103 is for very high end analog audio processing.
Looking back at his previous posts, I'm pretty sure Drew has that analog audio processing in mind. wink.gif

Just watched 'Watchmen' on blu ray on my ZT. Holy hell it looked gorgeous. Robust, rich colors, exceedingly deep blacks (with great shadow detail), tons of image detail and impressive contrast.
