which is why dismissing it as useless is silly. Even if you prefer buttons, there are almost certainly applications that everyone would find useful, not the least of which is being immediately signed in when you walk in front of the box, or when anyone else walks in front of it. It's easy to have a negative impression of something you've never tried, or even entertained as possibly handy.
Besides, controllers only have so many buttons. Potential in-game actions are limitless.
Personally I don't understand the cynicism towards it, but it's not a big deal. People are always resistant to new things. I remember when console gamers ranted about triggers on controllers... and broadband requirements... we all know how that went. I think it's better to take it in stride, otherwise you're wasting your breath, money, and time.
I mean, PS4 will offer basically everything XB1 will, and it's more powerful AND there's no camera. If I was dead set against the sensor, I'd be on board with PS4 all the way. Couldn't rationalize buying an XB1 without using Kinect or buying XBL. It's a waste of hard earned cashish.
