When I finally got the TV on a stand after running slides I took a picture. It's a cell phone picture, so not the best picture quality, but it was something.

I guess I should mention that the TV is a 65VT60.

Nice pics everyone!  I just purchased a 65VT60 and should be receiving it sometime Dec. 18th.  I'm hoping to contribute to this thread at some point in the near future.

Until then, I will continue to follow and be inspired.

They usually have VT60s on display in the BB magnolias. I would just go look at it there if you really want to see the picture. The st60 looks like crap because it's in torch mode and super bright lighting when on display at BB though. I was in the same situation and chose the 60st60 but only because I was able to get it for 997 during that Fry's PM to amazon debacle. I think if the price difference was less than 400 I would have gone with the VT.

I think the st60 picture is pretty good compared to the vt60.

This thread is awesome! Thank you Urga. Once I had ordered my ST60, it took me a few weeks before I received it. During those weeks, I would drop by and look at Urga's images from the Panny, and want my plasma even more!

I got around to taking a few pictures. My computer is not hooked up to my ST60, so I had to take the pictures with my camera. They don't convey the magic of the ST60 like Urga's pictures, but here they are anyway!

1080i cable TV

1080P Blu Ray of Samsara (I love this movie as well as Baraka)

Hi Urga,
So you setup all your BD player on RGB mode ? not YCbCr isn't it ?
RGB full or limited ?

on ST60 did you set pixel direct option on or off ?

thank you .

Pixel Direct causes ringing . I wouldn't use it. David McKenzie of HDTVTEST.UK makes a mention of this is his european ST60 review.
