I think i prefer the Gaumont version. It's brighter has better color with much more detail. Apparent detail anyway.

Is that Sony disc the remastered one? I have the remasterd version but the Gaumont looks better. Here are other releases-

I didn't even know these masters existed. Thanks alot, urga. :/

ST 60 is 999$ at Best buy while
The S60 is 699$ at BB...is the ST60 really worth the extra 300$...mostly using it for games (GTA, red dead) games like
That and maybe some call of
Duty and FPS games...and
Blu rays of course.
I'm still nervous about IR/BURN IN with these pannys I'm coming
From a 5020 Kuro with not a single
Problem ever...so I'm hoping this will do it for me.

What's the S790? Is that a camera? Looks to put a lot of sharpening/EE on the Skyfall BD. Kind of turns me off IMO. Overexposed, too.

Hi Urga,

Have you ever tried a Darbee Darblet ? smile.gif

Well, it's ****ing up the picture. wink.gif

I agree Urga, you need a Darblet (or daisy-chaining two of them, which I've had mixed results with myself). It gets the sharpening without the ringing.
