WD-65638 dlp link not working

Hello all. I am completly new to the forum and need your help. I have a Mitsubishi wd-65638 3d ready TV. I bought two pairs of Sainsonic SSZ-200dlb dlp link glasses and am running 3d content from my PC via tridef. I have 3d and dlp link enabled on the TV but I can see no 3d image. I see no white flash on the TV with no glasses on and the glasses are automatically shutting off after 30 sec., meaning they are getting no signal. Am I doing something wrong with my setup? Should I see a flash on the TV without the glasses on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I believe that TV only will accept checkerboard format 3D without the 3da-1 adapter (out of production and real expensive). So what ever software you are using must convert the 3D to checkerboard from side by side, top/bottom or whatever the type file you are playing.

Yes that is what Tridef is doing. After an online search I found that using the Samsung DLP L/R profile on the tridef software will turn the videos into checkerboard.

When using the glasses the image is just the same as looking at it without them.

I am not knowledgeable in tridef software so I can't help you there. I do have a 60638 TV and when you enable 3D the picture will get bright and washed out from the white DLP link flash. I gave up trying to watch 3D on this TV and sold my 3DA-1 adapter (it came back defective but that is another story). You don't mention what video card you have in the PC. It took me a month to get PowerDVD to work on my NVIDIA gt430 with the HD33 projector and Blu Ray burner, so there could be many different issues with your 3D playback. What source files are you attempting to play back, driver issues CPU fast enough etc.
