jbl n26 2's driver replacements ?

my boss just gave me a set of theese , what happens is the woofer will go in and out. figured i knew what was wrong and i was right.

took them apart and the tinsel leads are loosing connection if u push on them the speaker comes back on and sounds fine.

for now i added a piece of wire from the connector directly to the tinsel leads and they have been working fine. though thats really kinda rigged.but hey the price was right

but i was wondering is there a suitable replacement driver i can get for theese so i dont have to worry about it ? any suggestions

Depending on how it's broke, you might be able to solder it for a more permanent fix.

well the tinsel lead is still soldered to the terminal connector what happens is the wire sort of breaks connection in the middle of the tinsel lead , if the speaker stops playing and i use my finger to push on the tinsel lead it will start playing again

what i did is take some stiff strand copper wire and wraped it round the middle of the tinsel lead , then connected it to the terminal

do u think if i put some solder on the tinsel lead itself were i think its losing connection would work?, quess i could just try it since i really dont have anything to lose
